Kaptivo Diagnostics provides tools for you, your network administrator, and Kaptivo Support to help resolve connectivity issues you may have with your Kaptivo or KaptivoCast devices.
To access Kaptivo Diagnostics, navigate to Kaptivo Setup, follow the instructions on-screen to connect to your Kaptivo device's configuration panel, then select 'Diagnostics' from the menu on the left.
To access KaptivoCast Diagnostics, enter the IP address of your KaptivoCast device (shown on your KaptivoCast's idle screen) in your web browser.
Connected Network Interface
The 'Connected Network Interface' item shows the currently selected network interface: Ethernet or Wi-Fi. If you are experiencing connection problems, check that 'Connected Network Interface' is what you expect. If you need to switch from a wired (Ethernet) to a wireless (Wi-Fi) connection, or vice versa, select 'Network' from the menu on the left of your Kaptivo device's configuration panel, then select 'Ethernet' or 'Wi-Fi' as appropriate under the 'Network' panel on the right of the screen.
Note: KaptivoCast does not support Wi-Fi network connections.
