The Kaptivo Insight portal offers many tools to manage your fleet of Kaptivos.
Managing a Single Kaptivo
To manage a specific Kaptivo device, select the Actions pull-down to reveal actions you can apply to that Kaptivo.
Managing Multiple Kaptivos
Use the check boxes left of the Kaptivo ID to select one or more Kaptivos to apply additional actions. Checking the box on the header row will select all your Kaptivos.
Once checked, you will see a navigation bar appear on the footer allowing you to select some additional actions.
Update Firmware
- The Update Firmware button will automatically check if any of your Kaptivos require a firmware upgrade. You may also select various firmware versions to load onto your Kaptivo.
Access Control (for Single Sign On)
- The Access Control button controls the settings for single sign-on for users of the device. The device policy first needs to be defined, instructions for which can be found here.
- To enforce single sign-on, turn the toggle on and then select the policy required by users to use Kaptivo. Click Save to turn on the policy.
View Analytics
- The View Analytics will take you to the Analytics view where you can see the metrics for the sum of the selected Kaptivos.
Adding Tags
You may also add a tag to any Kaptivo which can be used to filtering and sorting. Use tags to add a label such as a building location or whether a Kaptivo is in a public or private room.
To add a tag, click the [+] under the Tag column to see the tag window. Then add your tag and select a color for the label. In this example, we're adding "Dallas" as a tag.
Once created, the tag will be pre-populated and selectable when opening the tag window.
