The Kaptivo Insight management portal (https://my.kaptivo.com) has three views, as denoted by the menu on the left hand side. The ‘Kaptivos’ view shows a list of Kaptivo whiteboard cameras associated with this account.
The red icon in the ‘Actions’ column denotes that a Kaptivo has not yet been set up and requires configuration.
Click on the red icon and select ‘Setup New Kaptivo’ from the drop-down menu.
If the Kaptivo Insight can detect the Kaptivo on the network, then it will connect directly to the configuration application within the Kaptivo camera.
The Kaptivo configuration app requests username and password to be entered. By default, both fields are set to ‘admin’. When logging in, the user is prompted to change the username and password to something else. If the user chooses, they can decline to change the username and password by clicking ‘Cancel’.
The following screen will be shown, prompting the user to press the button on the Kaptivo Control Pad.
If the Kaptivo Insight cannot detect the Kaptivo on the network, it will automatically launch the Kaptivo setup wizard (which can normally be found at https://kaptivo.com/setup).
Click the appropriate icon, depending on how you want to set up your Kaptivo on the network (WiFi or Ethernet). Follow the instructions in the wizard until you reach the camera calibration screen as shown below:
Kaptivo will try to automatically detect the corners of the whiteboard. This process takes a few seconds.
For whiteboards with well-defined edges, the auto-detection algorithm should successfully find the corners, as denoted by the green circles. If you wish to manually adjust the calibration, you can do this by dragging the green corners. You will then be prompted to ‘Save Changes’.
When the camera calibration has been completed and the network configured, there is a notification about the final step that needs to be done.
However the Pairing for Zoom is not initiated in this Interface.
You will complete the pairing in following steps.
